Tuesday 1st March 2005 – Extensis Inc. today announced that world-renowned photographer, Mary Ellen Mark, uses Portfolio as her digital asset management solution for managing her photo library of more than 45,000 images. Mary Ellen Mark is best known from her portrayals of Mother Teresa, Indian circuses, and brothels in Bombay to her award winning essay on runaway children in Seattle. Mark utilizes Extensis’ complete Portfolio solution including Portfolio Server with SQL Connect for Microsoft SQL Server, which manages her entire studio’s cross-platform needs for managing, accessing and organizing photographs.
