MDL Marinas have launched their annual photography competition. Openn to both amateur and professional photographers alike, the competition closes at midnight on Sunday 10th August, with the winning shots set to be unveiled at September’s PSP Southampton Boat Show. The winner of MDL’s Photographer of the Year will receive a boat portfolio taken by professional marine photographer Brendan Fitzgerald of Fitz Marine Photography, presented in a handcrafted, leather bound album worth £700. The runner-up will enjoy a magnum of Champagne. In the Under-16 competition, the winner will be presented with a Nikon Coolpix AW120 digital compact camera, whilst the runner-up will be awarded £50 worth of Amazon vouchers. WIN A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT WORTH £700 WITH MDL MARINAS’ 2014 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

MDL Marinas has launched its annual photography competition – challenging berth holders and visitors to get snap happy with their cameras this summer. For the sixth consecutive year, the competition will find MDL’s 2014 Photographer of the Year, as well as MDL’s 2014 Junior Photographer of the Year for the under-16s. The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers alike.

The winner of MDL’s Photographer of the Year will receive a boat portfolio taken by professional marine photographer Brendan Fitzgerald of Fitz Marine Photography, presented in a handcrafted, leather bound album worth £700. The runner-up will enjoy a magnum of Champagne.

In the Under-16 competition, the lucky winner will be presented with the brand new Nikon COOLPIX AW120 digital camera – which is waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof – whilst the runner-up will be awarded £50 worth of Amazon vouchers.

In addition, all winners and runners-up will receive a pair of tickets to the 2014 PSP Southampton Boat Show to see their photos displayed on MDL’s waterfront stand (E52).

Entries are now being accepted and can be submitted on MDL’s website or by post.  The competition closes at midnight on Sunday 10th August, with the winning shots set to be unveiled at September’s PSP Southampton Boat Show.
