The Minox DC 1222 is a 12 megapixel compact camera with a 28-112mm equivalent Minoctar lens and HD movie recording capabilities. In keeping with Minox’s traditions, the Minox DC 1222 is a small and lightweight camera that measures only 95x55x19mm, and weighs in at just 114 grams. The 4x zoom lens has a maximum aperture of f/3.0 at the wide end and f/5.8 at maximum telephoto. Compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards, the Minox DC 1222 is available priced at €149.

The 12 Megapixel CCD image sensor and powerful MINOCTAR lens guarantee pin-sharp and brilliant image results. With its 4x optical zoom the lens offers enormous scope, already when selecting the image detail. The autofocus feature enables a fast and precise response to any situation and together with the low shutter speed delay this makes it easy to reliably capture spontaneous shots and fast image sequences. When processing the images later on, the very high image resolution allows maximum enlargement of details and even poster-size prints of high quality, with the automatic white balance providing a natural color rendition.

To individually adjust the camera to the prevailing light conditions there are several flash functions for the user to choose from.

All data are stored on SD cards of up to 16 gigabytes or in the internal 32 MB memory. A lithium-ion battery provides the DC with a reliable power supply.
