MonsterPod Ships To First Customers
Monster Pod Technology Press Release
The incarnation of the amazing, patent pending, MonsterPod will finally materialize in all its gravity defying glory beginning, quite appropriately, on the 4th of July. Monster Pod Technology has begun printing shipping labels and will begin the first shipments this week of the much anticipated, digital camera gravity defying tripod. The newly designed MonsterPod X (Xtreme) and MonsterPod FX (Flash Xtreme) include important improvements and enhancements over the original design, making this goo gripping device unique in the industry. MonsterPod is as revolutionary to taking self-portraits of yourself, as your flash is to improving photograph quality in low lighting. Billed as the “Stick and Click” tripod of the future, MonsterPod is the next generation mounting device for electronic gadgets.
Recent improvements to this product will result in a new level of enthusiasm by customers. Improvements include a new trekky design, 360 degree tilt and swivel head, adjustable swivel tension for varying weighted cameras, a rugged outer silicon ring for enhanced goo conglomeration, a sturdy carrying case with a non-goo sticking surface, a slave strobe flash attachment for professional photographers and replaceable goo packets for additional life of the blob’s interior.
The MonsterPod Project Development team has kept its promise by presenting the camera community with a greatly enhanced product of exceptional quality and funcionality. It sticks, it swivels, it snaps your self-portrait and then it slides easily into your pocket… all finished!
Mount MonsterPod to your car dashboard for a live action family video, including guess who - you! Stick MonsterPod to a rock in the forest for a self-portrait of you and your mosquito bitten friends. Or, hang MonsterPod up-side down spy camera style in your front door jamb catching you trick those treaters this coming Halloween. Just stick it and click it and you are in the picture too!
MonsterPod is the most unique digital camera mounting device the industry has every seen… and the possibilities of mounting locations are as limitless as your own imagination. Utilizing a secret formula of rubbery goo, inventors Randel and Tyler Byrd have taken the extremely difficult task of balancing your compact digital camera in awkward locations and made it a simple task of… stick it and click it!
A design change making MonsterPod even more versatile, has been the addition of the tilting swivel head. The swivel head gives additional flexibility in placing MonsterPod in awkward, often inaccessible camera locations. And, the addition of goo packets allows a user to revitalize their MonsterPod’s blob interior, if it becomes too clogged with foreign material, such as during extreme outdoor hiking, climbing or camping conditions.
The MonsterPod Project Development team also enhanced MonsterPod’s ability to adhere to more objects. The new MonsterPod is rated for 20 ounces rather than the original 10 ounces, however, still shy of holding the full weight of an SLR. They have also added the MonsterPod FX (Flash Xtreme) which is an ideal extension of MonsterPod abilities, allowing professional photographers to mount slave flashes in extreme locations.
So, where does MonsterPod and the MonsterPod Project Development team go from here? First, the shipping department is focused on getting product to those first web customers who have been waiting so very patiently. Next, co-inventor Tyler Byrd will join his father in Guangzhou, China, to head up worldwide distribution of MonsterPod from their new offices in the Huadu District of Guangzhou City just west of Hong Kong. There they will concentrate on increasing distribution of MonsterPod to international resellers, as well as retailers in the U.S., who continue to wait for the debut of the reseller POP packaging.
Building upon the MonsterPod Project Development team’s commitment to quality, Monster Pod Technology with the energetic younger Byrd in charge of sales and wise old Papa Byrd in charge of research and development, Monster Pod Technology will begin to enter the camera bag market with the MonsterTough line of camera bags.
