Giotto’s have added two tripod and head kits to their range. The MTL9351B aluminium tripod, which features quick action lever leg locks, foam hand grips and a removable 3-D centre column, is offered in a bundle with the brand new, lightweight MH5011 3-way head, constructed from cast aluminium and featuring easy to use pan and tilt handles for precise camera positioning with spirit levels. This head can support a maximum weight of 4kg. The other kit - comprising an MTL9361B tripod and an MH5001 head - incorporates identical features, except the MTL9361B tripod uses larger diameter tubing for the legs offering improved stability with a maximum height of 185cm. The MH5001 3-Way head also has similar features to the MH5011, but can support a maximum weight of 6kg. The MTL9351 tripod and MH5011 head kit is available from around £135 and the MTL9361B tripod and MH5001 kit is available from around £160.

MTL9351B and MH5011 kit

The MTL9351B aluminium tripod and the brand new lightweight MH5011 3-way head make a great all round tripod and head combo.
The tripod legs offer great stability as well as being extremely portable, featuring robust and durable aluminium construction, quick action lever leg locks and foam hand grips.
The tripods versatility is further enhanced by the addition of the 3-D centre column function which can be removed from its vertical position and can be rotated through a 180 degree angle where it can be locked allowing you to shoot at varied angles. This combined with the variable leg angle settings makes this tripod ideal for low level photography too

This kit features a brand new edition to the Giotto’s range, the lightweight MH5011 3-Way head - it weighs only 0.45kg but can support 4kg! This 3-way head is packed with great features. It’s constructed from cast aluminium and featuring easy to use pan and tilt handles for precise camera positioning with spirit levels to ensure accurate camera set up. A quick release system with secondary safety catch makes camera attachment and removal quick and easy on this ultra-light head.
