Schneider Kreuznach has announced the launch of the Xenon Full Frame Prime lenses in the United Kingdom. Each Schneider Kreuznach Xenon full-frame prime lens features an M95 filter thread, a focus ring with a 300° angle of rotation, robust cine-style lens mechanics, a maximum aperture of T2.1, a circular aperture with 14 diaphragm blades and an exchangeable bayonet interface. The Xenon FF-Prime lens family will eventually include an 18mm T2.4, 25mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, and 100mm T2.1 focal lengths.

Schneider Lenses Launch in UK

Schneider Kreuznach, a world leader in high performance lenses is pleased to announce the launch of the Xenon Full Frame Prime lenses in the UK.

Designed to cover the full 45mm image circle that’s useable on Full Frame DSLR’s such as Canon 5DMK 111, Sony Alpha A7S, Nikon D800, the lenses are also suitable for the Super35 format. The Xenon Full Frame Prime lenses feature an optical and mechanical design that offers reliability and outstanding operation.

Each T stop on the lens provides a smooth and consistent bokeh due to the circular 14 blade aperture. With the same dimensions, performance and T2.1 stop spanning the range (aside from the 18mm), the quality is consistent throughout. The consistent sizes and gear locations ensure easy compatibility with existing cameras and accessories, and interchangeable mounts are available to enable future proofing in line with any camera upgrades.

The lens mechanics have been built to last over the years, with Schneider’s engineers selecting the finest glass and applying an anti-reflection coating.
