He’s always working on personal projects as well as commercial jobs and is currently involved in a documentary piece based around the D-Day Landings. Meanwhile Ross’s clients include Land Rover, Transport for London, and various creative agencies such as Steve Edge. Bringing a wealth of creative experience, Matt and Ross’s impact on Focus on Imaging will soon be visible with exciting insider knowledge and behind the scenes photo shoot documentaries planned for the FOCUS website in coming months, giving a unique glimpse into the making of some very special imagery. Their work began with the 2011 FOCUS showreel, which is a compelling story of this year’s event that can currently be viewed on the FOCUS website www.focus-on-imaging.co.uk.

Completing the new team is respected imaging expert Jonathan Briggs, known for his incisive writing and lecturing on all aspects of photography as well as being a working post-production and print specialist. Jonathan picks up the mantle of press and communications for FOCUS and will be in charge of developing the website as a vital source of photography know-how and product news.

Mary Walker explained: ‘With growth and development constantly taking place in this marketplace, it’s always been essential for FOCUS to embrace and represent it - by trend setting as much as following. This annual reinvention keeps the show fresh, and ensures that it continues to meet the needs of the industry, both in terms of suppliers and end-users.’

One of the exciting new projects to be launched ahead of the 2012 show is a bespoke multi-platform mobile application specially designed for Focus on Imaging. It’ll provide product and industry news, a scalable exhibition guide, exhibitor list and event programme plus online event registration direct to your smart phone. More details will be released ahead of its autumn launch.
