Nikon UK has announced two new Coolpix cameras, including the ten-megapixel Coolpix L25 and the fourteen-megapixel S2600 (pictured). The affordable and easy-to-use Nikon Coolpix L25 (£69.99 / €83.00) takes AA sized batteries and comes with 5x optical zoom, a 3” rear screen and Nikon’s Smart Portrait System on board. The slim Nikon Coolpix S2600 (exclusive to Argos in the UK) features a 5x wide-angle zoom lens and 14-megapixel image sensor, and comes in the following colours: black, red and purple with line art.

The trio consists of the COOLPIX S2600, an ultra-slim 14-megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, the simple COOLPIX L25 with Easy Auto Mode, and the functional COOLPIX L26 with 16-megapixels and one-touch video recording.

Stylishly simple: the COOLPIX S2600

At just 19.5mm wide, the pocketable COOLPIX S2600 can be taken wherever you go, ensuring you never miss a chance to capture memorable moments. From nights out with friends to a baby’s first smile, all the best bits of life can be savoured through crisp, sharp images or 720p video. 

The COOLPIX S2600’s precision NIKKOR 5x wide-angle zoom lens and 14-megapixel image sensor combine to deliver incredibly detailed images that make superb enlargements.
