Nikon Quadruples Profits

Nikon D70sNikon have announced a surge in profits for the last financial quarter, boosted by sales of higher-end DSLR cameras like the excellent D70s and new D50. “Nikon, the world’s second-largest maker of digital single lens reflex (SLR) cameras, said group operating profit totaled 13.94 billion yen ($124 million) in the April-June first quarter, up from a profit of 3.13 billion yen in the year-ago period.” Watch out for my D50 review soon!
