Nikon School Aims to Inspire Photographers Nationwide with Diverse Class Offerings

MELVILLE, NY (Monday, November 13) - Nikon Inc. has kicked off its 2017-2018 curriculum by unveiling their latest Nikon School program schedule, which offers a variety of courses and interactive workshops that will appeal to photographers of all levels. Whether a beginner looking to step up to a DSLR camera, or a passionate enthusiast looking to enhance their skill set, photographers nationwide will be excited to explore Nikon School’s unique class offerings. 

Nikon School Online affords photographers with convenient and easy-to-follow instructional videos that can be accessed anywhere, anytime. Nikon School Online explores popular topics, including Exploring Dynamic Landscape Photography, featuring photographer Taylor Glenn. In this course, participants uncover the secrets behind capturing stunning landscapes by mastering key elements such as lighting, composition and depth of field. Also new to Nikon School Online is Discovering Macro Photography, featuring photographer Joey Terrill, which invites individuals to engage with new perspectives by discovering the world of micro subjects. In addition to the online experience, Nikon School will continue to offer in-person workshops and seminars in local markets nationwide. Among these classes will be specialty Portrait & Lighting Workshops, in which attendees will explore the Nikon Creative Lighting system and learn from Nikon’s Professional Market Technical Representatives (PMTRs), including JC Carey, Andy Dunaway, Brien Aho and Chad McNeeley. With school back in session, photographers Michael Schwarz, Bob Pearson and Reed Hoffmann will also return to the classroom to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of content creators. Additionally, the 2017-2018 Nikon School curriculum will once again strike the balance of technical instruction and creative inspiration by offering courses showcasing Action and People, Landscape and Travel and Elements of Photography. Furthermore, Nikon will also be introducing a new Adventures in Photography course with Reed Hoffman, designed to inspire attendees as they embark on their own journeys in photography and instill confidence in photographers as they explore their own outings and adventures.
