Nikon Wildlife Photography WeekendNikon has once again teamed up with the London Wetland Centre to offer a special wildlife photography weekend at the London Wetland Centre on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May. As part of the weekend’s activities, wildlife photographer Chris Packham will be hosting a talk each day and leading a number of special wildlife walks around the reserve. John McDonald, Nikon’s Solutions Manager, will give a lecture on photography technique on both days to enable you to develop your wildlife photography and learn some useful hits and tips. Throughout the weekend Nikon specialists will be on hand to answer questions and there will also be the opportunity to try out the latest photography and sport optics equipment.

Ever wanted to take great wildlife photos but can’t afford expensive equipment? ‘Digiscoping’ (using a digital camera with a telescope) offers a more affordable solution. Discover how in this practical course. Equipment provided. Booking essential.


11am-12pm Wildlife Walk with Chris Packham
A walk around the reserve with wildlife photographer Chris Packham. A chance to learn about Chris’s favourite subjects for photography and how to capture wildlife on camera.
Max 30 people. Booking essential.

11.30am-12.30pm Photographic technique
John McDonald of Nikon UK will provide insight into improving your digital photography. Booking essential. Max 80 people.

1-2pm Focus on wildlife
A talk by Chris Packham about his photography.
