The Novoflex Ball NQ is a new low profile ball-and-socket head. The easy-to-move Novoflex Ball NQ permits a 360° rotation and can be locked in any desired position by means of a winged screw. The Ball NQ will be available in November 2010 for 189 Euros.

Flat Head - the Mid-sized Ball Head

At photokina 2010, NOVOFLEX Präzisionstechnik GmbH will introduce a new supplement to its line of tripod heads: a low profile design, the Ball NQ.

The new model complements the extensive line of NOVOFLEX ball-and-socket heads. Like the existing versions, the new, flatter variation stands out for its high precision and stability, which are further enhanced by the shifting of the camera’s center of gravity.

The easy-to-move ball permits a 360° rotation. The ball can be locked in any desired position by means of a winged screw. An integrated level helps to align the camera precisely in the right position.

The Ball NQ tripod head is designed to support equipment weighing up to 7 kg (15 ½ pounds). A peculiarity is the lubricant-free seat of the ball, which prevents fast retention. Furthermore, the corrosion-free materials make the universally applicable ­tripod head a true outdoor tool. The new ball head is equipped with a fixed camera quick-release Q-Mount, with which it can be combined with numerous products from the NOVOFLEX assortment.

The Ball NQ will be available in the trade as of November 2010 at the price of 189 Euro (Suggested Price).
