Novoflex have announced several new products that will go on display this week at Photokina 2016. Coming shortly after the recent announcement of the Leica SL Smart Adapter for Canon EF lenses, Novoflex has also announced a similar lens adapter for Nikkor optics. This new smart SL/NIK adapter supports electronic pass-through from the lens to the camera body, enabling autofocus, aperture control, AF/MF mode, and depth of field indicator from the Leica SL camera body. A new tripod collar ASTAT-CN is designed to be used on the SL/NIK and the SL/EOS adapters when using heavy lenses on the Leica SL. This new tripod collar supports the lens to relieve the stress on the Leica bayonet mount. Additionally, Novoflex has introduced three new PL adapters that will allow film/video professionals to use PL-mount lenses on Leica T/SL (LET/PL), Micro Four Thirds (MFT/PL), and Sony E-mount (NEX/PL) cameras. Last but not least, the Novoflex MagicBall Free is a new take on the idea of a ball head and allows compact system camera users to quickly frame and capture an image quickly and with stability. Exciting NEW Products from NOVOFLEX at Photokina 2016

NOVOFLEX, a German innovator of precision equipment for photography and filmmaking has announced several exciting new products that will be shown this week at Photokina 2016 in Cologne, Germany.

Coming shortly after the recent announcement of the Leica SL Smart Adapter for Canon EF Lenses, NOVOFLEX has also announced a similar lens adapter for Nikkor lenses. This new smart SL/NIK adapter supports electronic pass-through from the lens to the camera body, enabling autofocus, aperture control, AF/MF mode, and depth of field indicator (MF) from the Leica SL Camera Body. With this new addition, Leica SL users now have access to dozens of auto-focus Canon and Nikon E-type NIKKOR lenses. Currently, 13 Nikon E-type NIKKOR lenses and teleconverters are compatible with the new adapter.

A new tripod collar ASTAT-CN is designed to be used on the SL/NIK and the SL/EOS adapters when using heavy lenses on the Leica SL. This new tripod collar supports the lens to relieve the stress on the Leica bayonet mount. The ASTAT-CN is recommended for use with heavy lenses.

Because the quality of digital video capture has increased in mirror-less cameras, the allure of using PL-mount lenses on them has also grown. NOVOFLEX is proud to announce three new PL adapters that will allow film/video professionals to use these lenses on Leica T/SL (LET/PL), Micro Four Thirds (MFT/PL), and Sony E-mount (NEX/PL) cameras. These new PL adapters include a tripod mount for added stability when using them on smaller camera bodies. The exact flange focal length of the new NOVOFLEX PL mount lens adapters can be adjusted via supplied shim rings to the exact requirements of different cameras and cine lenses.

This new base allows use of the popular L-bracket allowing quick change from vertical to horizontal. The TrioBalance=Q 6/8 expands the modular design of the TrioPod that now includes a choice of three base units and multiple leg choices from ultralight carbon fiber full size to mini legs that allow TrioPod to be used as a super small travel tripod, table stand, or macro tripod.
