Official Portfolio Review Programme at PhotoPlus Expo

The Palm Springs Photo Festival and Photo District News have joined forces to present over 1600 reviews in their annual Official Portfolio Review Programme during this year's PhotoPlus Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, 24-26 October 2013. By registering, photographers will be able to schedule one-on-one, 20-minute sessions with difficult-to-meet, New York-based book publishers, advertising agency creatives, magazine photo editors, gallery and museum directors and curators, reps, industry consultants and more. The first 80 who pre-register for Portfolio Reviews before 1st September will be eligible to have a page devoted to their work (including contact info), included in the event's Portfolio Review Source-Book, printed by Blurb, which will be distributed to each of the reviewers at the PhotoPlus Portfolio Review. The Palm Springs Photo Festival and Photo District News have again teamed up to present over 1600 reviews in our fourth annual Official Portfolio Review Program during this year's PhotoPlus Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, October 24-26.
By registering, you'll be able to schedule one-on-one, 20-minute sessions with difficult to meet, New York-based book publishers, advertising agency creatives, magazine photo editors, gallery and museum directors and curators, reps, industry consultants and more. Imagine trying to meet with 5, 10, 15 or more key people in New York in just three days!
We have already listed over 80 reviewers. More are being added each day. We'll announce over 175 in October!
As an emerging or professional photographer, you know that perhaps nothing is as important in these changing times for a photographer as getting solid, honest feedback from real-world influencers. Attending first rate Portfolio Reviews is an important way to obtain valued feedback and critiques as well as the possibility of new assignments or visibility for your work.
Other programs have a first-come, first served policy. If you register later than others, you miss out. We treat all applicant's review requests evenly right up to our cut-off date. Our program allows you to choose your review appointments. We do our absolute best to guarantee you'll see at least 60% of your chosen reviewers and higher in most cases! Attendees must have a website that substantiates their status as an emerging or professional photographer. This is not an event for amateur photographers. In addition, registered attendees will have a free pass to PhotoPlus Expo for all three days!
