Olympus UK have announced the UK price of their new DSLR, the E-300.

In the UK Olympus will sell the E-300 and the Zuiko 14-45mm lens as a kit for £699.99 inc VAT.

This puts it in direct competition with Canon’s entry-level DSLR, the EOS 300D, and cheaper than the Nikon D70.
