SUCCESS FOR THE STYLUS XZ-2 and OM-D EM-5 CAMERAS OLYMPUS FLAGSHIPS WIN iF PRODUCT DESIGN AWARDS

Olympus continues to pick up awards for its outstanding design and the trend showed no signs of stopping when the iF product design award 2013 jury awarded two Olympus cameras: the STYLUS XZ-2 high-end compact and the mirrorless OM-D.

Flagship cameras that re-define their category

The mirrorless OM-D E-M5 is a new camera concept, the digital incarnation of the renowned OM series that fuses 60s design elegance with revolutionary technology. The first mirrorless Olympus system camera with an integrated electronic viewfinder, it is a shining example of functionality, user-friendliness and professional-looking design in perfect harmony.

The STYLUS XZ-2 is the envy of the compact category, offering both portable design and some of the advantages of a fully-fledged system camera. Its super-bright, 1:1.8 aperture wide zoom lens and manual control options ensure exceptional image quality and flexibility – especially in low light.
