Press Release

“On Landscape” publishes issues 51 and 52 of its dedicated landscape photography magazine in January.

Published as a state of the art website and tablet oriented PDF, it gives nearly 200 pages of original content per month.

“On Landscape” is both a community and an editorial publication representing photographic styles from Ansel Adams to Andreas Gursky, Marc Adamus to Jem Southam, Eliot Porter to John Blakemore. Just over two years old they have built up quite a back catalogue of content, all accessible to subscribers.

Don’t take their word for it though, they’ve prepared a free demonstration PDF issue for you to download with articles on diffraction, post processing black and white, David Ward writing on communicating with photography and an interviews with Tasmanian photographer Chris Bell and British photographer Chris Tancock plus a couple of the usual editorial features.

Although the premium articles are subscriber only there are regular articles that are completely free or free with an unpaid subscription. For example, here’s one of the most popular articles from 2012 comparing various film and digital cameras including 8x10 film and the jaw dropping IQ180.
