Press Release
enlight photo is proud to announce the upcoming launch of a mounting bracket for the orbis™ ring flash - the orbis™ arm
The orbis™ is a revolutionary photo lighting device that quickly and easily turns the harsh light of a regular photographer’s flash into beautiful, shadowless light especially useful in portrait photography. enlight photo’s new innovation, the orbis™ arm, makes the orbis™ even more versatile.
“So many keen, good photographers own flashes they rarely use because the light is so harsh. The orbis™ solves this issue,” says James Madelin, founder of orbis™ developers enlight photo ltd.
By handholding the orbis™, photographers can move it easily to on or off-lens positions to create a variety of lighting set-ups in moments. But some photographers love shooting exclusively with the orbis™ on-lens for longer periods. The orbis™ arm provides a solid mount for photographers who want to use their orbis™ in its primary ‘ring flash’ position for extended shoots.
The orbis™ arm is a compact and lightweight mounting bracket designed to work with the orbis™ ring flash and most of your favourite SLR flashes, cameras and lenses. Built from 6061 aircraft grade aluminium and in a smooth powdered silver, the arm extends the possibilities of your orbis™, giving you the freedom to shoot on-lens for longer!
Fits the orbis™ and the flash to the camera using the solid tripod socket as the attachment point
Four-way adjustable to fit a wide range of gear combinations
Folds down quickly into a compact ‘travel mode’
“There have been a lot of helpful suggestions from the orbis™ community - the interest in this accessory to the orbis™ is very clear,” says orbis™ inventor James Madelin. “The benefit of our ‘arm’ bracket over home-made ones is it works with every flash set up, it’s tough, you don’t have to spend several attempts making it yourself and it looks much sexier!”
The orbis™ arm will retail for £39.95 at www.orbisflash.com and all good camera stores.
NB: Purchases from www.orbisflash.com ship to UK and EU customers ship direct from our UK warehouse.
