Orbis Ring Flash to Be Showcased at Focus

Focus on Imaging 2010 marks the fist time that British Photographer James Madelin will be showcasing his award-winning invention, the orbis ring flash, on home soil. Designed to be a compact and affordable alternative to expensive studio ring flash systems, the orbis ring flash was first conceived in James’ garden shed. Now manufactured in New Zealand, has secured global distribution a year after launch. James Madelin and the orbis ring flash can be found on stand C41 in Hall 9 & 10 at Focus on Imaging at Birmingham NEC, 7 - 10 March 2010.

British photography invention comes home.
Focus on Imaging 2010 marks the fist time that British Photographer James Madelin will be showcasing his award winning invention, the orbis™ ring flash, on home soil. James Madelin will be doing personal demos with gorgeous models alongside newly signed distributors for UK and Ireland, Snapperstuff.
The orbis™ was designed to be a compact and affordable alternative to expensive studio ring flash systems. Its design was first conceived in James’ garden shed. Little over a year after launch, the orbis™ has secured global distribution and a Pop Award from prestigious American Publication, Popular Photography.
UK Magazine Practical Photography listed the orbis™ as one of their “most wanted accessories” in 2009. The ring flash has also been reviewed by prestigious TIPA publications across Europe.
The orbis™ was designed and manufactured by enlight photo ltd. The company is based in New Zealand with remote offices in the UK and USA.
