Order Prints Online, Collect In-Store with Jessops
Jessops Press Release
Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic retailer, has launched Britain’s first ‘order online, collect in-store’ photo printing service.
Customers using the company’s new look online photo centre – www.jessopsphotoexpress.com – can choose to have their prints delivered through the post, or to collect them from any of Jessops’ 270 stores nationwide.
Those using the collect in-store service simply select their preferred store from a drop down list, and benefit by saving on the usual postal delivery charge of £1.50, and getting a faster delivery time of only two days. Delivery using the postal service takes up to five days.
Fiona Howard, Head of Developing and Printing at Jessops, said: “The enhancements to the service mean customers can now choose to collect their images from any of our stores nationwide – whether close to home or their workplace – and benefit from a faster service with no delivery charge.
‘The service has proved phenomenally popular in the United States, and we expect the UK market to follow suit.’
The new collect in-store facility is just one of a number of exciting services available on www.jessopsphotoexpress.com.
Customers simply register for an online account which comes with 70MB of free storage space. Digital images can then be uploaded to the site and sorted in online albums which can be shared with friends and family.
A range of new photogifts are also available including a soft bear with personalised t-shirt. Gifts can also be collected from store with a seven day turnaround time, or posted with delivery taking up to ten days.
