Tickets are now on sale through Páramo for this event to be held in Wadhurst, East Sussex on the evening of Saturday December 5th 2009. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Aspira Fund, set up between Andy and Páramo to provide funds for conservation and research projects.
Highly acclaimed wildlife photographer Andy Rouse has worked with Páramo since 2005 – adopting Páramo gear by choice for his visits to the world’s most inhospitable and extreme locations, from sweltering jungles to freezing snowscapes. Welcoming too the ethical manufacturing and environmental stance of the company, his endorsement resulted in the launch in 2006 of a limited edition Andy Rouse Wildlife Photography range. The proceeds from the sale of these garments designed for wildlife and landscape photographers go into the Aspira Fund, set up jointly with Páramo to provide funds for small conservation and habitat research projects that are often bypassed by major funding initiatives.
