Peachpit Photo Club Presents Moose Peterson
Join Moose Peterson, author of Captured: Lessons from Behind the Lens of a Legendary Wildlife Photographer, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 8 to 9 p.m. ET (5 to 6 p.m. PT).
Moose Peterson is more than just a wildlife photographer—he’s a storyteller in both prose and pictures. If you’re looking to learn a thing or two about wildlife photography from a man who has devoted his entire career to capturing nature’s finest and most rare moments, you’ll find it during this webcast. If you’re looking to be transported into the wild to confront a grizzly bear and her cubs, stumble upon a pack of wolves, or capture an owl in flight, you’ll find that as well. You’ll also find a healthy dose of inspiration as the stories behind the photos Moose will share are revealed as only Moose can tell them. You’ll also gain knowledge that you can put to use on your next excursion into the wild, your local or state park, or even your own backyard.
To keep the creative juices flowing, Photo Club members will receive an assignment at the end of the session. Once the assignment is completed, Photo Club members can upload their work to the Peachpit Photo Club Flickr Group where Moose and the Peachpit crew will help critique your work. And of course, there will be a chance for prizes!
