Pentax have released a new firmware version for the *ist D DSLR, which includes the following changes:

Version 1.11 of the *istD firmware will fully prepare your camera for use with the Pentax Remote Assistant software (available as a separate download). The Remote Assistant software will allow you to control various *istD functions from your computer.
