Pentax has updated its raw codec, which enables preview of raw image files captured with Pentax cameras in Windows Explorer, by adding support for PEF files produced by the Pentax 645D. The software is compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7, but Pentax expressly states that it is not compatible with 64-bit versions of either operating system.
