Brave Orange Photo Shaman 1.2.2 is released.

Helsinki, Finland (March 19, 2005) - Photo Shaman is a handy imaging software utility for creating stylized thumbnail images for image galleries and photo albums. The main difference of Photo Shaman from other thumbnailing software is an ability to create unique thumbnail styles. If you are bored with standard rectangular thumbnails or want to breathe more life into your photos, then here is what you can do: you can add magnificent 3D picture frame to your images with various shapes. You can add bevel effect of different shapes to your thumbs. You also can add a mask together with bevel and frame. The program allows you to create your own style and save it for later use or pick an existing style from a great collection of stock styles.

Process images individually, in batches, or in whole folders, using fast thumbnail browser. Rotate, resize, sharpen, add copyright sign and shadow, checking out the results in a realtime preview.

Key features:
Picture frames: Create a stylized picture frame around your image. Specify frame width, 3D thickness, roundness and light angle. Create square, round and many other shaped frames. Add texture to the frame. Use 3D strength control to make the texture look three-dimensional. Modify texture color. Scale, rotate and shift the texture to position it on the frame. Add your own textures.

Bevel: Create realistic bevels with an advanced 3D lightning model. No limitations for image border shape - create square, round or rounded-square border shapes. You can add a mask and bevel it up.

Masks: Masks is a mechanism to create stylized, non-square edges of a photo. You can use masks together with picture frames.

Shadows: Create realistic shadows under images. Shadow is a simple and effective way to make photos look vivid and cool.

Marker: Sign photos with author’s name, logotype or copyright message. Marker images with transparency are supported. User can control marker
placement, opacity and scale.

Resize: 8 different resize modes: Best Fit, Fit Width, Fit Height, Exact Size, Percents, Auto Crop, Crop Width, Crop Height. Sharpen option produces clear and sharp thumbnails.

Batch Processing: Process thousands of images with a pair of mouse clicks. Multi-CPU support.

Preview JPEG output: Choose JPEG compression options according to realtime JPEG preview and target file size.

All digital camera and other image formats are supported: JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP. Transparent output support in PNG, BMP, TIFF.
