To coincide with his new book, Footprint Travel Photography, Steve Davey has launched a new range of travel photography tours. These include Impressions of Morocco and Impressions of India, with land arrangements provided by Intrepid Travel in both cases. Impressions of Morocco starts 21 September 2009, and runs for 13 days. Participants will visit cities like Fes, Casablanca and Marrakech, go trekking in the High Atlas Mountains, explore ruins, gorges, kasbahs and holy sites as well as spend a night in the Sahara Desert. The tour price is from GBP1195 plus a local payment of 300 Euros. Impressions of India takes you to the Taj Mahal, the cities of Kolkata and Varanasi, the pilgrimage site of Bodh Gaya and includes spending three days at the Sonepur Mela festival in Bihar. The tour runs for 16 days from 26 October 2009 and costs from GBP1395 plus 18,000 rupee local payment.

To coincide with his new book Footprint Travel Photography, Steve Davey has launched an exclusive new range of travel photography tours, with all land arrangements provided by Intrepid Travel.

Impressions of India visits the stunning Taj Mahal, and the holy city of Varanasi before spending three days at the Sonepur Mela festival in Bihar. The largest livestock fair in Asia this is noted for the Haathi Bazaar, or second-hand elephant market. We will also visit the Buddhist pilgrimage sit of Bodh Gaya with it’s strong Tibetan influence and the bustling city of Kolkata. The tour runs for 16 days from 26 October 2009 and costs from GBP1395 plus 18,000 rupee local payment.

These tours are a unique opportunity to combine extensive teaching by Steve Davey, an experienced professional travel photographer, with a holiday in some of the most atmospheric and photogenic places in the world. As well as covering technical subjects like exposure, composition and shooting RAW, Steve will cover tips for approaching people to shoot their portrait, travelling with a camera and tackling different situations and picture opportunities that you encounter on the road.
