PhotoBox Press Release
PhotoBox, the UK’s number one destination for photo storing, sharing and printing, is delighted to announce that after just over a year of remarkable growth, the award-winning business has reached over 2 million members. This incredible achievement is testament to PhotoBox’s reputation for quality and the nation’s increasing confidence in online solutions.
Commenting on PhotoBox’s growth, Mark Chapman, UK Managing Director said, “We are delighted to have achieved such outstanding results. The combination of the PhotoBox service and an increasingly web-savvy audience has undisputedly helped us reach 2 million members. It was only 16 months ago when PhotoBox was celebrating the 1 million member milestone. At the time we set ambitious targets to smash this figure and double our growth within 18 months, so to have exceeded all expectations is an exceptional accomplishment.”
Whilst PhotoBox’s core digital photo printing service has remained the most popular in the UK, the brand’s personalised gifts have proved remarkably successful and grown revenue streams for the business. Within the past year, PhotoBox has witnessed the launch of personlised NoteBooks, collages and StyleBooks, all of which have been received incredibly well by the market, in addition to the brand’s other personalised products which include canvas prints, posters and the ever-popular PhotoBooks.
PhotoBox has planned a generous product road map for the year ahead. Just launched is the business card range, MyCard, with over 25 designs to choose from and this summer will see PhotoBox launch an enhanced range of the best-selling PhotoBook. PhotoBox is confident that ongoing product innovation coupled with the current e-commerce boom is a sure recipe for achieving 3 million members by this time next year.
