Photomania Press Release

The initial mobile version of PhotoMania allows users to apply expressive, single-click enhancements to any photos on their mobile devices with an exciting range of painting, sketch, vintage, texture and many additional effects. By processing images in the cloud rather than locally, the PhotoMania service provides users with high quality photo enhancements directly from their mobile devices. PhotoMania enhanced photos can be saved locally on the mobile device and shared across social networks and messaging applications. The mobile version of PhotoMania is available on both Android and IOS devices.

PhotoMania was initially launched as a Facebook app, where it consistently ranks among the top photo and entertainment applications. The social and sharing platform and viral nature of Facebook served as a good starting point for PhotoMania to grow its initial user base.

Last year, PhotoMania launched a web version of its photo effects and sharing service. The web version features a sophisticated user interface and serves as a gateway for most users to the world of PhotoMania. PhotoMania is planning to enhance the web version with unique photo editing tools that will empower users with additional creativity to turn their everyday photos into extraordinary works of art.

PhotoMania has attracted over 40 million users since its launch two and half years ago and is quickly becoming one of the most popular and fastest growing apps for photo effects and sharing. PhotoMania has processed over 1.5 billion images and current processes on average 1,400 images every minute and over two million images each day.
