PhotoPlace is a new iOS app that sorts geotagged photos by country, state/province and city based on the geographical co-ordinates (latitude and longitude) of the point of capture. The app has both a free and a paid (”Pro”) version, both of which are available on iTunes.

CultStory Inc. today introduces PhotoPlace, their new photo sorting application for iOS devices. PhotoPlace uses GPS information for iPhone photos and sorts them by country, state/province and city. Users do not need to sort their photos manually, as PhotoPlace will automatically organize their photos according to the places that were taken. The app sorts not only your photos but also your videos. Users can also lock their album with a passcode.

PhotoPlace uses GPS information for iPhone photos and sorts them by country, state/province and city. Users do not need to sorts their photos manually, as this app will automatically organize their photos according to the places that were taken.

Once you download this app, it will organize your photos according to the places you took them:

This app organizes your photos by the countries you took them. If you select one of the countries on your list, you can see all the photos taken in the country.

* Region:
This app sorts your photos according to the different states you took your photos.

* City:
This app sorts your photos according to the different cities you took your photos.

* Map:
This app shows the places you took your photos on the map.

* Settings:
You may download the extended version for $0.99
