Phottix today unveiled their new Solas series softboxes. Constructed from a new material - SL-Tech – the Solas series comprises four products including the Phottix Solas Octagon Softbox with Grid (122cm/48", pictured), the Solas Strip Softbox with Grid 35x140cm (14"x55"), the Solas Strip Softbox with Grid 40x180cm (16"x71") and the Solas Softbox with Grid 91x122cm (36"x48"). All Phottix Solas Softboxes come with an inner baffle, outer diffuser, mounting rods and grid. Speed Rings for Bowens, Elinchrom, Profoto, Balcar and Comet mounts are available separately.

Introducing the Phottix Solas Series Softboxes

September 22, Koln, Germany: The Phottix Solas Series of softboxes – featuring new materials, lighter weight – same great light properties and Phottix durability.

Softboxes are a staple light modifier for many photographers, both in the studio and on location. After extensive research and feedback from our Pro Team photographers we developed the new Solas Series.

Constructed from a new material - SL-Tech – the Solas series are both lightweight and strong. With the standard fire and heat-resistant properties, SL-Tech fabric is both highly reflective to minimize light loss and durable enough to stand up to years of assembly and disassembly without warping or changing shape.

The four Solas Series softbox models feature something for every photographer – An octa, a rectangular box and two strip boxes.
