Pocket Phojo 3.0 to launch Feb 27th on Nikon’s stand at Focus Show

Idruna Software Inc. is pleased to announce that the Pocket Phojo 3.0, a major update to the acclaimed handheld photo editing and wireless transmission solution for photojournalists, will be launching on Nikon’s booth at the Focus on Imaging show at the Birmingham NEC, from February 27th to 3rd March.

“Pocket Phojo 3.0 greatly extends the functionality of Nikon’s WT Wireless Transmitters, ushering in a new era of high speed news gathering, and we are honored to have been invited to present our solution at Nikon’s stand.”, said Paul Nolan, CEO of Idruna.

“Nikon’s Digital SLRs are now able to transmit images via WiFi directly to the Pocket PC running Phojo, allowing images to be automatically captioned, resized, recompressed, and retransmitted by FTP or Email via mobile phone, satellite phone, or another WiFi network.  This means that in fast breaking news situations, the photojournalist, with just one click of the shutter, can have a press ready image transmitted to the news wires in near real-time.”

Idruna UK rep Keith Heppell will be giving two 30 minute talks for each of the four days of the show, please see http://www.nikon.co.uk/press_room/pressreleases/133.shtml for the schedule.  The Focus on Imaging web site is: http://www.focus-on-imaging.co.uk/
