Professional and amateur photographers from around the globe can now submit their images to the Red Bull Illume 2016 sports photography contest. Entrants have until 31 March 2016 to submit their shots for a chance to earn great prizes, priceless exposure and be part of the worldwide Red Bull Illume Exhibit Tour. Red Bull Illume Image Quest 2016 set to showcase the greatest action and adventure sports photography in the world

The day has finally come. Professional and amateur photographers from around the globe can now submit their mind-blowing images to the world’s greatest action and adventure sports photography contest – Red Bull Illume. The image quest will once again showcase the most outstanding and creative images, while illuminating the passion, lifestyle and culture behind the people that shoot them.

Entrants have until March 31, 2016 to submit their shots for a chance to earn great prizes, priceless exposure and be part of the worldwide Red Bull Illume Exhibit Tour.

Photographers can enter as many as five images in each of the 11 categories, including the all-new Mobile category. There is no limit to the creativity of the shots that can be entered, whether they are action, lifestyle or sequence shots. Head over to redbullillume.com and check out the full list of categories.

The images are judged by an international panel of 50 photo editors from prominent international publications whose task is to select the 55 best shots, including the 11 category winners and one overall winner.

The finalist images will be unveiled at the Red Bull Illume Winner Award Ceremony in the autumn of 2016, before traveling to capitals and cultural hubs across the world as part of a unique nighttime photo exhibition.
