Reflecta introduces new LED Video Lights

Kenro has announced the launch of two new cost-effective LED Video Lights by Reflecta - the respected German manufacturer of digitalisation products and specialists in Light Technology - to the UK and Irish market for the first time.

The new Reflecta LED Video Lights are available in two models - RPL170 and DR10, featuring either 170 or 5 power LEDs respecively, the equivalent to twelve or ten watts, allowing for better exposures to be taken during unfavourable lighting conditions. Units offer a broad lighting angle of either 60% or 65% and the '170' model features an adjustable rotating head with hotshoe (including locking screw), giving photographers and video users maximum versatility when shooting.

Photographers and videographers alike will particularly appreciate the common feature of an integrated control found in both versions, which allows colour temperature to be easily adjusted between 3200K to 5500 or 5800K.

The RPL170 is dimmable features a rotating metal ball head with hotshoe and two included Sony Adaptors, to enable it to fit nearly all camera / camcorder shoes. The RPL 170 can be operated with AA batteries, Li-Ion battery (Sony NP-F550) or by a power adaptor and is therefore very adaptable. The RPL 170 distinguishes itself through its comprehensive accessories and the very good price / performance ratio. The LED Video Light DR10 was developed to use for interviews and reporters. It can easily be mounted onto professional video cameras such as Sony, Panasonic or JVC - or can be mounted onto DSLR cameras. In order to be prepared for different lighting conditions, the DR10 is equipped with a soft filter and a daylight filter, together with 2 brightness levels. The light beam can also be regulated by the 2 integrated barn doors. The power supply is via Li-Ion battery or by the power adaptor cable via the integrated battery of the camera. A carrying bag and carrying handle is included.

Both are lightweight and their compact design teamed with an impressively long run time of up to 140 or 360 minutes makes the new Reflecta video lights ideal companions for those who are on the move.
