The Reflecta x9-Scan is a new, battery-operated standalone device designed to quickly digitise your 35mm negatives and slides. Featuring a 5-megapixel area-array sensor, the Reflecta x9-Scan can save the resultant digital images to separately SD/SDHC memory cards. The photos can be viewed immediately on the x9-Scan's 2.4" LCD screen or your TV set. A bundled USB cable allows the device to be hooked up to a laptop or desktop computer. The scope of delivery also includes the ArcSoft Media Impression image editing software, which can be used both under Windows and Mac. The Reflecta x9-Scan is available for £95.76 including VAT.

Reflecta x9 Film Scanner announced by Kenro
Kenro, the UK and Ireland distributor of Reflecta, the respected German manufacturer of cutting-edge digitization products has announced the well-priced Reflecta x9 Scanner.
The new x9 Scanner can digitize slides and negatives in just 1 second at 1,800 dpi 5 mega pixels and with a colour depth of 24 Bit - plus you don't need a computer.
Due to the included Li-Ion Battery, the scanner can be used everywhere. The scanned images are saved to an SD/SDHC card (not included) and can be viewed immediately on the 2.4" LCD display. Negatives are converted automatically to positives.
Using the USB cable, you can read the scans straight to a computer where you can edit them with image editing software as required. You can also view the images on TV (TV out NTSC/PAL).
Individual slides (5 x 5 cm, up to a thickness of 3.2 mm, max. three slides in a holder) as well as individual negatives or negative film strips (35 mm, up to 6 photos in a strip) are scanned. The matching slide and film holders are included. The maximum scan size is 24.3 x 36.5 mm.
With 450 grams, the weight of the new reflecta x9-Scan is conveniently low. The concise dimensions of the compact unit are only 108 x 106 x 143 mm (L x W x H). The offer also includes the ArcSoft Media Impression image editing software, which can be used both under Windows and Mac.
