The call for entries for this year's Renaissance Photography Prize has been issued. By entering, photographers get their work seen by some of the most highly regarded photography critics, and have the chance to win $10,000 worth of prizes in total, including cash, professional printing, portfolio reviews and valuable international exposure.  Sungle image categories include Belonging, Expression and Transition; and there is a Series category as well. The competition is open to everyone and welcomes entries from all countries. Call for Entries: Renaissance Photography Prize 2014 open for submissions with Martin Parr and Flowers Gallery on judging panel 

Photographer Martin Parr joins the judging panel for this yearʼs Renaissance Photography Prize, alongside some of the most influential photography organisations in the industry. By entering, photographers get their work seen by some of the most highly regarded photography critics, and have the chance to win $10,000 worth of prizes in total, including cash, professional printing, portfolio reviews and valuable international exposure. 

The 60 finalist and shortlisted photographs selected by the judges will be exhibited in the UK at a top London gallery in September, and the winners will be announced at the 2014 award ceremony.

Photographers can enter single images and/or series of work. The competition is open to everyone and welcomes entries from all countries. 

All entrants receive a 20% discount on digital C type printing from Metro Imaging, valid until the competition deadline.

And the good news is it's all for a good cause. All profit from your entry fee is donated to Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care (registered charity number 1017658), a charity which is dedicated to supporting younger women with breast cancer. Since Renaissance launched in 2007 it has donated $380,000. 

Prizes 

A total $10,000 worth of prizes will be given to the winners, alongside valuable publishing opportunities and international exposure. 

The Best Single Image and Best Series winners will each receive cash prizes of $1600, in addition to vouchers for professional printing/framing and photography supplies, membership or mentoring from Self Publish Be Happy and portfolio reviews. Each of the three category winners, and the Best Series Runner-Up will receive $800 each, a portfolio review and a photographic supplies voucher.

2013 Winners 

The winners of Renaissance Photography Prize 2013 were announced at last yearʼs awards ceremony at The Wapping Project Bankside, London, UK. From thousands of entries the judges selected 6 strong winners, including the two main prize winners Hanna Putz and Jackson Patterson.
