Hama Press Release
The photographer’s outdoor companion
Nothing competes with nature for stunning photographic subjects. And there’s no need to worry about the season or the weather, provided, of course, that your camera equipment is sensibly stowed away.
Robust, stable, water-resistant, comfortable to carry and with numerous practical features: the new Rexton case series from Hama. Six sizes are available in the following colour combinations: black, black/blue, black/red and black/white. And it’s particularly worthwhile to take a close look at the carefully thought-out features.
Protection from water and moisture is the highest priority for Rexton products. The rubberised and washable case floor is a real helper, as are the zips with extra rubber inlays on the lid and front compartment. Heavy cloud-bursts are kept at bay by a rain cover. After the downpour, this is stored in a separate compartment, so that it does not come into contact with the valuable camera. What’s particularly useful is that the rain cover does not stop you using the belt loops or the carrying strap. The carrying handle is pleasantly soft and the shoulder strap is secured with a metal clip and fitted with a comfortable shoulder pad. Tripod loops are helpful, but they’re often annoying, because they dangle about unused. The Rexton models get around this irritation, thanks to slide-in compartments at the side.
The new Hama cases also have something to offer on the inside: padded side walls, adjustable inner dividers and a separate, protective insert, so that your photo equipment doesn’t sit directly on the case floor.
“Where is it?” – a frequent and frustrating question for camera case owners. Hama has solved this problem with a system of codes. Compartments and pockets are marked with small images, which instantly describe their use and content. Rain cover, charged and empty rechargeable batteries, full and empty memory cards and cleaning cloth – everything has its place.
