Ricoh have released a new firmware update, v1.27, for the Ricoh Caplio R3, a 5 megapixel compact camera with a 7x optical zoom lens equivalent to 28-200mm and vibration correction of the CCD.

- Improved accuracy of the AF algorithm in the macro mode.
- Improved accuracy of the vibration correction function.
