Rollei Flexipod 300: A tripod for all surfaces. Just in time for IFA 2011 in Berlin, Rollei presents the new Flexipod 300 with smartphone adapter (also suitable for the iPhone 3GS* and iPhone 4*) — a tripod which, thanks to its size and stability, is also suitable for SLR cameras.

The Flexipod 300 has numerous possible uses and impresses with its compact size (approx. 285 x 50 x 50 mm) and universal practicality. This three-legged creature is especially suited to use with compact and SLR cameras or even mini-camcorders.

The flexibility of the rubber feet makes adaptation to practically any surface possible. This means laborious tripod alignment is not necessary. Thanks to its rubber tripod, which can be bent and rotated through 360°, this flexible all-rounder can even be mounted on a door handle. A mini spirit level is used to align the tripod perfectly. The non-slip rubber feet offer a secure footing, particularly on horizontal surfaces, such as in the outdoor environment. This makes it especially suitable for travel and the great outdoors.

Cameras or camcorders up to a maximum load of approx. 1000 grams can be attached to the quick release plate with a 1/4-inch tripod thread. The screw fasteners and legs are completely covered with a layer of rubber for better protection from sand, dirt or dust. It is especially light (35 grams), compact and space-saving, making it THE ideal accessory for all photographers who are regularly out and about.

Availability and price:
The Flexipod 300 with smartphone adapter will be available in stores in pink, blue, red, green and grey from September 2011 for a recommended retail price of EUR 39.90. The smartphone adapter is suitable for the Flexipod 200 and Flexipod 300 and is also available in stores separately.
