“Ron Wyatt’s China” is a solo exhibition of large-scale photographs of China by editorial and corporate photographer Ron Wyatt, Hosted by The Calumet Gallery, the exhibition is taking place from October 26 to November 4, 2011 and showcases a collection of more than thirty images, representing two bodies of work: photographs of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and images of China’s cities, towns and people. “RON WYATT’S CHINA” solo exhibit at the Calumet Gallery printed on Canson Infinity Papers

(Oct 16, 2011) The Calumet Gallery is pleased to present “Ron Wyatt’s China,” a solo exhibition of large-scale photographs of China by editorial and corporate photographer Ron Wyatt, from October 26 to November 4, 2011. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 7-10 PM at the Calumet Gallery, 22 West 22nd St (2nd Floor), NY, NY. The reception is free and open to the public. A press preview will be held from 2-5 PM on October 25, 2011.

All Olympic images in the China exhibit, curated by Andrew Darlow, are printed on award-winning Canson Infinity Papers.

The exhibit showcases a collection of more than thirty images, representing two bodies of work: photographs of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and images of China’s cities, towns and people.

Wyatt’s Olympic photos include iconic images of athletes from many countries; including an almost gravity-defying image of USA Shawn Johnson, and photos from the opening and closing ceremonies. Wyatt’s images from across China include breath-taking scenic captures and a diversity of natural and man-made landmarks, and candid portraits of people. Through his photographs, Wyatt gives us a glimpse into the ever-changing landscape of modern China.

About the Photographer
In his 20+ year career, Ron Wyatt has photographed a wide range of subjects, including international sporting events, world leaders, celebrities and religious figures.
