The International Print Exhibition has been staged almost every year since the formation of the Society in 1853 and has built up a worldwide reputation for its exciting breadth of genres and styles, from the artistic to documentary, from portraiture to natural history.
The Royal Photographic Society is the foremost photographic society in the world, and appearing in the International Print Exhibition has always been coveted by professionals and has helped many aspiring photographers to launch their career and achieve recognition.
Dr Barry Senior FRPS, President of The Royal Photographic Society said: “For over 150 years, the International Print Exhibition has stood for the very best photography that the world has to offer. This year we welcome the support of Allen & Overy and hope that the prize fund will stimulate an even greater breadth and variety of work.”
“In particular we think that the introduction of the Allen & Overy Prize for the image which best represents the theme ‘Justice around the World’ will add new scope for our entrants, and prove a challenging and interesting brief for them.”
