Photo Iconic Mountains & Panoramas photocourse, October 10-17

Looking for something different to do this autumn? Why not s-t-r-e-t-c-h your talent and take your photographic abilities to new heights with Photo Iconic’s very special Mountains & Panoramas photography course in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia in October?

Focusing on horizontal and vertical panoramic photography, and on landscape and black and white images, this tour will venture into the Tatra national park with hand-picked locations specifically chosen for panoramic photography. This stunning region offers amazing opportunities for photography, with emerald lakes and valleys, waterfalls and the high Tatra and low Tatra peaks. And with expert tuition from landscape and travel photographer Chris Coe and the master of panoramic photography, Nick Meers, participants will be able to make the most of their glorious location.

The course is open to just seven guests, and will cater for all levels of photographic skill. It is suitable for digital and film photographers and for 35mm, medium or large format users. All photographic locations have been thoroughly researched, including assessing the best stand-points for sunrise and sunset images, ensuring that all participants need to do is concentrate on their photography, putting into practice the techniques they are shown by their professional photographer leaders, to capture the very best images possible of this truly magical land. And, on a Photo Iconic course, the tutors are there to teach you, not to get their own images, so you’re guaranteed a high level of personal tuition.

The week-long holiday is excellent value at £985, with everything included - international flights to and from the UK, six days of photography excursions and masterclasses, and full board accommodation in a very comfortable and well appointed private chalet. Accommodation, food and flights are all arranged by Photo Iconic’s trip partner Mountain Paradise/Tatra Photography, the Tatra Mountains specialist. With so much included in the trip cost, you shouldn’t need much spending money. And the cost of living in Slovakia is very easy to live with, so if you want to treat yourself to a coffee or a beer, it will only cost about 1 Euro.

And for every booking made, Photo Iconic and Mountain Paradise will donate £100.00 to the Tatra Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation set up in conjunction with the Animals on the Edge program of Living Earth to provide funding for conservation initiatives throughout Tatra Mountains National Park. So you’ll be helping preserve this wonderful environment, at no additional cost!
