In the last year, Samsung has gained significant market share in the mirrorless digital imaging category, taking the number 2 spot, and on June 4th the brand encourages consumers to attend the event to familiarize themselves with connected mirrorless photography, hands-on experiences and shooting techniques.

Attendees also have the opportunity to #DITCHtheDSLR (or trade-in a DSLR – fully operational Digital Single Lens Reflex camera including battery, power supply and lens) in exchange for a new NX30 (retail value $999, while supplies last), one of Samsung’s latest and most capable mirrorless cameras. • Get in on the selfie frenzy and perfect their selfie pose with the NX Mini.

Adding further value to the event, a group of Samsung #Imageloggers will be on hand discussing their experiences since ditching the DSLR in favor of Samsung’s NX cameras and offering up tips for how to capture great images. Imageloggers have been identified through their activity in social groups and experience with photography and are unpaid participants in the program.
