Samsung announced today that it is now shipping its EVO 16GB and 32GB memory cards in twin packs. There are four new twin packs available in time for Christmas, including the EVO Micro SD Twin Pack 32GB (£44.95), the EVO Micro SD Twin Pack 16GB (£28.95), the EVO SD Twin Pack 32 GB  (£47.95) and the EVO SD Twin Pack 16GB (£28.95). Both EVO cards boast Ultra High Speed (UHS-I) Grade 1 level performance and offer read speeds of up to 48MB/s.

Memory Card twin packs offer back-up memory to capture life’s precious moments

28 October 2014 – Samsung Electronics, a market leader in advanced memory technology and an innovator in consumer electronics, announced today that it is now shipping its current EVO 16GB and 32GB memory cards in twin packs offering double the memory in one pack.

There are four new twin packs available in time for Christmas, offering shoppers a great gift with added value;

Both EVO cards boast Ultra High Speed (UHS-I) Grade 1 level performance and offer fast read speeds of up to 48MB/s.

The new twin packs offer the consumer back up memory for the holidays and special occasions such as weddings and birthdays, so if your card is full you can replace it and carry on taking images or video footage.

To ensure reliability, both these cards are waterproof, temperature proof, X-ray proof and magnet proof, allowing them to withstand some of the harshest conditions. They are guaranteed to survive up to 24 hours in seawater and endure operating temperatures from -13°F to 185°F and non-operating temperatures from -40°F to 185°F (-25°C to 85°C and -40°C to 85°C, respectively). Data in the cards will not be affected by X-rays and can resist up to 15,000 gauss magnetic force.
