SamsungSamsung UK is opening its second Customer Service Plaza, covering North London, Hertfordshire and Essex, on 6th December 2007. The Customer Service Plaza will be a fully functioning diagnosis and repair centre. Customers can drop in for support on Samsung products, discuss servicing requirements, or arrange an in-home repair. “When our customers purchase a Samsung product, be it a fridge, mobile phone, notebook or television, we want them to feel sure that they’re investing not only in a beautifully styled product, with superior technology, but also a fully-focused customer service programme there to support them with help and advice should they need it.” commented Samsung Electronics U.K. Managing Director, Mr. M.S. Drop in centre with ‘while-you-wait’ repair bar opens in Brentwood, Essex

London 3rd December 2007 - Samsung is opening its second Customer Service Plaza on Thursday 6th December 2007. The plaza will cover North London, Hertfordshire and Essex and will be a place for Samsung customers – existing or potential - to drop in and seek support and advice on Samsung products, discuss servicing requirements, or simply arrange an in-home repair at a convenient time to the customer.

The Customer Service Plaza will be a fully functioning diagnosis and repair centre. Customers will be able to have their Samsung products looked at by expert technicians, who will be able to repair, where possible, their product on site on a ‘while-you-wait’ basis or advise of other courses of action, as appropriate.

The new plaza will be opened by Samsung Electronics U.K. Managing Director, Mr. M.S. Kim with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and a full tour of the facility, followed by demonstrations of service capabilities from Samsung’s home appliance and consumer electronic ranges.

Commenting, Mr. Kim said: “Samsung prides itself on offering outstanding customer service and the opening of this second centre is further proof of our commitment to that. Samsung products are as much of a ‘lifestyle’ choice as a ‘technology’ one.
