Sanyo Xacti VPC-S5 is announced. The Sanyo VPC-S5 has 5.1 megapixels, 1.8 inch LCD screen and a 2.8 optical zoom lens from Olympus. The originally recorded 5.1 megapixels can be converted to the equivalent of 10 megapixels on the Sanyo Xacti VPC-S5. USB-connectivity to a PictBridge-compatible printer and a variety of automatic modes are also offered by the VPC-S5. Price and availability to be announced.
