Schneider-Kreuznach markets EXAKTA via Stephan GmbH
BAD KREUZNACH, 17 November 2015
The EXAKTA brand is part of the range of products by optical specialist Schneider-Kreuznach, a traditional German brand that stands for reliability and technical solutions with attention to detail. Schneider-Kreuznach works with Klaus Stephan GmbH in Röthenbach to market its EXAKTA lenses.
The EXAKTA range currently includes UV filters, circular polarizing filters, fold-up lens hoods, lens covers as well as cleaning and care products. The filters are designed by Schneider-Kreuznach with high-quality optical glass and a mount made of black anodized aluminum. “If demand is high, we can also imagine expanding the range,” says Harald Barth, responsible for Film & Photo at Schneider-Kreuznach. The EXAKTA brand has a legendary history and gained fame through the Hitchcock movie “Rear Window,” for example, in which James Stewart uses the camera to watch his neighbor. Today, EXAKTA products are in the mid-price segment and an alternative for quality-minded but price-conscious photographers.
