Apple Aperture
Solutions Expo will host the UK’s only dates for Apple’s Aperture roadshow. This two hour session will showcase Aperture, the first all-in-one post-production tool for photographers. Join us and find out how you can harness Aperture and Mac OS X Tiger to give you a complete workflow for today’s digital environment. Adobe Photoshop explained
Photoshop’s greatest strength is its ability to combine, merge and manipulate multiple layers within a single document. But the days of erasing elements we don’t want are long gone; instead we have Layer Masks, Blending Modes and Clipping Groups to control the visibility of each layer. In this lively session, Steve Caplin will construct a photomontage from scratch, using a variety of layer techniques to explore the capabilities of the world’s favourite photo editing application.

HP’s case studies
HP hosts two case studies feature heavyweights from the world of photography, Stuart Franklin of Magnum Photo and Fred Zuill of HP USA. Franklin’s most well-known photograph is from Tiananmen Square, China, 1989 - a man defying a tank, for which he won a World Press award. Zuill will be revealing secrets and revelations behind printing technology
