Free battery pack and the freedom to print anywhere with Canon SELPHY printers

Anyone who buys a Canon SELPHY CP710 or CP510 compact photo printer in December will be free to roam with their photography thanks to Canon’s Set your SELPHY free promotion. Throughout December , Canon is giving away a portable battery pack worth £50 free with every SELPHY CP710 or CP510 purchased; making it even easier to have fun with photography. To claim their free battery pack, customers can pick up a leaflet in store, complete the voucher and return with original proof of purchase (being sure to take a copy). Canon will then post the free battery pack directly to them.

Printing with SELPHY couldn’t be easier. It’s simply a matter of connecting camera to printer using the on-board retractable print cable, selecting the photo to be printed, and pressing ‘print’. With the portable battery pack there’s no need for any extra wires or even to be near a mains power supply; so photos can be printed the second they are taken, no matter where that may be! Combined with Canon’s 4x6” postcard ruled paper, SELPHY printers are perfect for sending personalised postcards from even the most unusual holiday destinations.

The SELPHY CP710 and SELPHY CP510 compact photo printers use a dye-sublimation printing process. Each dot that is laid down on the paper can have up to 256 gradation (intensity) levels per colour, dependant on the amount of heat applied. This enables Canon’s dye-sublimation printers to generate up to 16.8 million colours. Prints are finished with a durable, high-gloss, protective layer to guard against everyday splashes, spills and sticky fingers.
