Serf and Shoot The Frame — the photography contest site — are launching a new Affinity Photo photography contest. There's no restriction on subject matter - landscapes, wildlife, architecture, portraits, etc. are all accepted – and photographers can also submit as many entries to the competition as they wish for more chances to win. The contest only has one main requirement – that entrants use Affinity Photo (currently available for free in beta) to edit their entries.

Serif teams up with photography contest site Shoot The Frame

NOTTINGHAM, UK — May 1st, 2015 — Serif is delighted to announce a special free-to-enter photography contest where the winner will receive a massive $1,000 USD in cash.

The contest, run in conjunction with photography competition site Shoot The Frame, only has one main requirement – that entrants use Affinity Photo (currently available for free in beta) to edit their entries.

This means there’s no restriction on subject matter - landscapes, wildlife, architecture, portraits, etc. are all accepted – and photographers can also submit as many entries to the competition as they wish for more chances to win.

“In just 8 weeks over 200,000 photographers have downloaded the free Affinity Photo beta and we’re really excited to see the work people are achieving with it,” says Ashley Hewson, Serif’s Managing Director. “Shoot The Frame is a fantastic photo contest site and we’re really pleased they are hosting this contest for us. Both our companies are passionate about finding and supporting creative talent, and this contest is a great way of doing that.”
