PhotoMagic, the complete photo software suite
Arnhem, October 26, 2004 - Shortcut launches PhotoMagic, the complete photo software suite. All of Shortcuts software products, including their award-winning and patented technologies, are now bundled into one product. Design, paint, repair, enlarge, and print photos very easily. PhotoMagic is available from 14 November.
PhotoMagic is specially designed to enhance photos, taken with a digital camera or mobile phone - with built-in camera -. It offers creative, artistic and repair filters as well as enlargements without quality loss and one-click printing.
Enlarge: Shortcut PhotoMagic uses the patented and award-winning S-Spline technology for enlargements up to 2000% without quality loss.
Repair: Discoloration, damages, interference from scanning or JPG patterns, too little detail and focus in photos can be easily fixed with PhotoMagic. A combination of superior tools (self-adjustment, advanced filters) and a very easy user-interface will allow the user to repair or enhance an image to perfection in no time at all.
Paint: With the artistic module, photos are transformed into beautiful works of art in a creative way. Specially designed filters and user tools such as pencils allow the user to create art in a traditional way.
The user applies the filter with a pencil on the on screen canvas and easily creates a piece of art which looks like a real painting.
Design: With PhotoMagic all kind of visual effects can be applied, photo color tones such as black and white, old fashioned or sepia, creative edges (all kinds of borders and frames) and lenses with various effects.
Print: The printing of borderless high quality prints in just one single click is also a feature of PhotoMagic. This technique is unique. The Image Quality Protection Technology automatically fine-tunes the printer settings. It is the first print application that directly addresses the printer and prints borderless without having to adjust the printer settings. (Only suitable for Windows)
Shortcut PhotoMagic is suitable for both Windows and Macintosh.
